The Venev Diamond Factory's bar of the premium series of abrasives on a flat aluminum plate. The abrasive layer on this plate is not sintered, but glued to the plate body. Already out of the box such a block is ready to work, it does not require levelling on silicon carbide. The bar is suitable for finishing sharpening.

The 10/7 side is made on a new upgraded OSB binder.  The difference between the OSB binder and others is that it does not use boron carbide. In addition, the abrasive layer on it is not sintered, but glued to the body of the metal plate. The lack of extra inclusions of other abrasives makes it possible to do softer and finer work. OSB binder is ideal for hard steels on small angles.

Organic binder

Work recommendations: This bond work with either soapy water or oil. The manufacturer himself recommends working with water or soapy water, but working with oil gives excellent results in terms of cleanliness of the process itself, not leaving such a large amount of water slurry.
