Description
Leather on blank is intended for finishing the cutting edge. It's clamped into the abrasive holder. Leather fixes uneven surface of the cutting edge and strengthen it.
Work surface is made of extremely smooth cow leather, glued onto the wooden blank.
Velvet side is inteded for application of the compound for hand sharpening (as a rule, different companies make it green).
Edit a knife with translational movements keeping the sharpening angle.
Smooth side requires either finishing (white) compound or doesn't require it at all.
Dimensions: 170х30х10 mm
