"Naniwa Chosera Professional is an improved series of Naniwa stones. In this series new magnesian bond is used. Thanks to the improved formula Naniwa stones work much better.

Naniwa Professional 1000 grit stone is designed for the main sharpening and editing knives that do not require much metal removal and repair work. The stone is delivered on a blank, perfect for the abrasive holder of TSPROF knife sharpeners and others.
Stone dimensions: 152×25×6 mm
Gritness (JIS): 1000 grit
Material: aluminum oxide
Bond: magnesian
Work recommendations: when sharpening the abrasive surface should be moistened with water. You do not need to soak the stones, avoid prolonged contact with water. No silicon carbide powder is required to level the stones. Preparation of the abrasive to work is performed with a small amount of water on the glass due to its own suspension. After leveling, the Naniwa stones must be thoroughly dried. Store in a dry, ventilated place.
