Description
This aluminum blank is a base for gluing sharpening stone, leather or sandpaper on it, can be easily clamped into the abrasive holder. Due to the bevels of the blank the abrasive stone/leather/sandpaper will be clamped firmly. Compared to plastic blanks aluminum blanks give the additional rigidity and firmness.
The blank has a special adhesive base 3M. The main feature of this coating is the use of elastic acrylic polymers with closed cells as a base. They allow you to immediately fix stones or leather on the blank, while having exceptional bonding strength. This coating shows high resistance to UV radiation, moisture, salts, solvents and temperature.
Blank dimensions: 160x25 mm
Thickness: 4 mm
Supplied in a blister.
User's manual:
The optimal working temperature of adhesion for the 3M coating is 18-40 degrees.
It is recommended to use the glued abrasive no earlier than 24 hours after installation.
