TSPROF steel honing rod is a reliable assistant for editing the cutting edge of a knife, which is suitable for steels with medium hardness (up to 63 HRC). The honing rod allows you to quickly and accurately restore the cutting edge of the knife, helping to keep it sharp. To maintain the sharpness at home, it is enough to use the honing rod 1-2 times a week. Steel honing rod perfectly copes with bends, small notches and irregularities on the cutting edge. The honing rod is additionally reinforced with a special galvanic coating

Work recommendations: to not to damage the cutting edge of the knife, you should drive it at an angle of 20-25 degrees, alternating sides. The movement should begin from the junction of the blade and its handle on the beginning of the honing rod and end with a blade point at the honing rod handle. It is advisable to perform these actions with a slight pressure of the blade on a honing rod. Steel honing rod is simple and unpretentious: the core of the rod is magnetized, so small particles of the editing blade are attracted to the rod, leaving the knife clean.
After use, the steel honing rod must be hung on the wall, on a special hook.
It is not recommended to store the steel honing rod together with other cutlery.
Wash the honing rod as it becomes dirty with regular detergent and a washcloth.
