TSPROF K03 Pro Base Sharpening Kit

The K03 Pro body has no horizontal deviation and the knife is clamped parallel to the table. The modern rack and pinion elevator, which has a rack with involute (toothed) gearing and stepless adjustment, allows you to set the angle with an accuracy of 0.1°. The extended angle body, due to its improved design, will allow you to sharpen knives in a range of operating angles from 7° to 39°, which allows you to sharpen a total angle of up to 78°.

The sliding part is connected to the base by a dovetail, which guarantees absolute precision of the angle setting. An additional locking screw allows the lift to be rigidly locked during deburring operations. An additional lifting rod is used to increase the angle of sharpening. Fixing its position is now more convenient: the fixing screw can be installed on both sides of the body. The response part of the lift is made of a durable polymer material - polyacetal. It is a super strong and high performance polymer with a density of 1.420 g/cm3. Polyacetal has excellent antifriction properties, providing excellent smooth running of the rack and pinion lift. The polymer is black, highly wear and abrasion resistant. It retains its initial appearance and smooth shiny surface for a long time. The slider is fastened through a dovetail connection, which eliminates backlash of the mechanism during operation, which could affect the quality of sharpening. A steel rail is responsible for the operation of the lifting mechanism. Angle measurement scale is applied on the front side of the slide and allows you to visually control their setting.

The unique rotating mechanism has a wide lever that facilitates rotation and ensures reliable auto-locking of the clamping frame. Thanks to a spring and bearing system, the frame turns over without wear of the mechanism. The body of the auto-rotate system is made of durable aircraft-grade aluminum, anodized in black.

Universal abrasive holder allows to use with the sharpener any abrasive stones both on blanks and without blanks. The abrasive holder has no metal backing, but thanks to the special geometry of the stops it allows you to fix the abrasives as securely as possible. The abrasive holder bar has an increased length of 694 mm, is made of steel and has high rigidity. The holder bar is collapsible and connected by an aluminum sleeve coupling, with a three-point mounting, which gives the maximum coaxiality of the connection. The rod is equipped with a handy thumbscrew for adjustment, and the connection of the rod is made in one motion.

Included with the abrasive holder is the Axicube, a device for measuring the sharpening angle. Developed specifically for sharpening systems, the angle finder is integrated into the holder's movable stop body and allows real-time monitoring of the sharpening angle. The Axicube is rigidly connected to the abrasive holder and is in the plane of the abrasive stone. This allows maximum angle accuracy during operation. It allows you to set the angle to an accuracy of 0.1°. The angle finder has a durable aircraft aluminum housing and is resistant to vibrations. It can be used in temperatures from 0°C to +40°C. Charges from a standard micro-USB charger. Each Axicube is factory calibrated with verified measuring instruments. Before use, a special calibration prism is used to give it an initial reference angle. If the sharpening device is moved to another surface, a new calibration with the prism is required. 

Axicube is a patented invention and a registered trademark. The product is not intended for measurements other than sharpening, correct operation of the product is only possible with the K03 Pro. The product is not compatible with TSPROF Kadet and TSPROF Blitz sharpeners. Correct operation of the product with other sharpening systems is not guaranteed.

Whole-milled clamps, made of high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum. This type of clamp provides the greatest rigidity and stability of the unit. Thanks to the monolithic design of the clamps, their main advantage is the increased resistance to abrasive pressure, which ensures a constant angle during all phases of work, from roughing to finishing. No calibration or adjustment to different blade shapes is required when working with this type of clamp. They have a simple and convenient principle of clamping (using a single key), allow you to clamp a variety of knives, including knives with bevels from the spine, folding, kitchen, hunting, etc.

The TSPROF steel base, weighing over 3 kg, holds the unit securely on the table and allows you to sharpen on any flat surface.
