Convex sharpening attachment 4.3

Convex sharpening provides high cutting capabilities to the blade while maintaining high strength of the cutting edge. The convex edge acts as a wedge, moving apart the material being cut, which reduces friction and material resistance due to the smaller contact area.

Application of uniform forces when cutting products of considerable thickness, as well as the highest strength when cutting are the distinctive features of blades with a convex edge. The TSPROF attachment for the convex edge presents a removable adapter, which is easily mounted on the abrasive holder. These adapters provide a uniform change of the angles across the entire width of the bevels, and the result is the convex edge. Convex edge is very good at impact loads, when cutting reeds, coastal shrubs and grass, large raw bones, dead branches, it is much more effective at deep cutting compared to knives with V-shaped geometry, considering similar blade thickness - this is due to less 'sticking' to the material.
