Description
"TSPROF clamps securely fix the blade of any geometry providing tight-fitting of the jaws to the planes of the blade’s spine and, at the same time, free proceeding of the cutting edge. The clamps are constructed considering three main elements: base, flat springs, and clamping jaws. Robust jaws are connected with the base by the flexible flat springs, which allow versatile fitting. When clamping a knife, the springs switch from free position to tension so the rigidity of the clamping increases. Besides, mounting and adjusting screws in a clamp build a firm geometrical system and allow, simultaneously adjust the clamp for the large variety of blade geometry and control the symmetry of the construction.
A specially modified clamp was manufactured using specific screws and provides a minimal sharpening angle of 6.5° per side. Due to the two clamping spots, the blade’s bending is excluded. It’s possible to separately move the clamps along the whole pivot-arm.
Suitable for kitchen and fillet knives with a narrow spine.
The steel of the 65Г brand for the jaws was used. For manufacturing the springs -- 60C2A.
You can sharpen: kitchen knives, fillet knives, keychain knives, dangerous razors, and other long knives.
recommended knife length: 30-300 mm
Minimal knife width: 10 mm
Jaws width: 16 mm, 2 pcs.
It isn’t recommended using knives with the spine thicker than 2,5 mm to avoid the jaws damaging,
